When I was 6 years old, my dad went to see a chiropractor. She helped him to get better and from then I knew that I wanted to be a chiropractor. I wanted to help people get better there and then by having skills with my hands. My parents were amazing and supported me through this dream even though it was a rare occupation at the time and the only place in Europe to study was 700 miles away from my home town. I feel so privileged that not only did I achieve my dream of being a chiropractor but it opened up a whole world of opportunities that I could never have imagined. From lecturing, to consultancy, from working with England FA and England FA, Chiropractic has opened the door to some of my best experiences, not least of which it is how I met my husband and through our respective professions we both worked at the London 2012 Olympic Games which has to be one of the best experiences of my life. Not only that but I genuinely love my job – my patients tell me that sometimes I enjoy it too much!! You will find that I am passionate about what I do and genuine in my quest to become the best practitioner I can be and get the best results for my patients.
When lecturing at my Alma Mater the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, I was asked why I became a chiropractor. You can see my response for yourself on the clip below.« Back to Team Members
