If you watch sports or enjoyed any of the London 2012 Olympics, you will most likely have seen kinesiology taping or “Kinesiotape”. My personal favorite was the diving where it seemed like every diver had the essential parallel strips down either side of the spine. Proof if it were ever needed that athletes suffer from low back problems just like the rest of the population!

Running Mechanics
This describes where the runner spends most of the time. Front end as suggested is with the legs in front of the body and rear, behind the body. A number of runners believe that to enhance performance they need to push the foot behind them. This is only true for sprinting activities, where you are trying to generate as much force as possible with each step.
