Jack Mountford

Hi everyone, I’m Jack, a Sports Therapist at the Chiro & Physio Clinic.

I graduated from Edge Hill University in 2021 and have been working at the clinic since early 2022. My degree focuses on the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, with a huge emphasis on getting a patient back to optimum levels of functional, occupational and sports specific fitness, regardless of age or ability.

In late 2022, I unfortunately ruptured my ACL, doing what I love the most, playing football. Throughout the rehab process, I gained a significant amount of understanding around how it truly feels to be injured and not being able to play in a sport you’ve been playing since 5 years old.

This motivates me even more to provide my patients with a holistic and individualized approach to rehabilitation. I do this by making sure the patient has a full understanding of what they need to do and why they need to do it, to achieve the dream outcome that they want.
